The breakfast was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will recommend to family and friends.

But what made it for us were the Sue and Hannah. Warm welcome and attentive throughout.

What a pleasure it was, to just sit there and relax with a bottle of wine as the sun went down. Sue and her daughter, are very hospitable hosts and seem to have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. Our large high ceilinged room, looking out over the front lawn, had a very comfortable bed, a large screen tv hidden inside an antique armoire, a fridge with fresh milk and filtered water, tea and coffee facilities, including a choice of fruit teas. There was a fan in the room, and a hair dryer and phone charger in the drawer. An iron and ironing board were available on request. Our bathroom had a roll top bath with an overhead shower. Towels and nice toiletries were provided. A very good breakfast was served in a beautiful dining room, the table dressed with good table linen and crockery. A good choice of fresh fruits, cereals, yoghurts, juices, toast, jam, marmalade and honey, eggs from their own chickens, cooked in whatever way you wish, and a full English Breakfast or veggie options were provided.
