Trinity Hall Bed and Breakfast

After receiving the break as a Christmas present from our daughter, we tried to book twice last... read more year, but had to cancel because of COVID restrictions, however it has been well worth the wait. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was second to none. Thank you Sue and Hannah, nothing was too much trouble for you. We shall be recommending Trinity Hall to friends and family.

Trinity Hall is placed in between Cambridge and easy reach of Ely with its magnificent Cathedral it was a amazing bed and breakfast set in the Fen countryside can’t wait to return next year

  I decided to book a stay here as part of my Husband’s Christmas present. We originally booked for March, but due to my father being gravely ill, I had to... read more phone and ask the owner, Sue, if we could postpone our visit. She was so understanding and said to phone and rebook when we felt able to plan. We eventually stayed here in October and were so thrilled with our break. Sue welcomed us on our arrival and showed us to our “superior suite” for which we’d paid a small upgrade. Wow.....what a surprise! The room was tastefully decorated and was worthy of a 5* hotel. The bed was very comfortable and there was a Chesterfield style suite, tv, drinks trolley stocked with a great choice of teas, coffee and biscuits. In the en-suite bathroom was a small fridge in which Sue had thoughtfully left a jug of fresh milk and a carafe of filtered water. The bathroom was just gorgeous, complete with claw-foot bath and a large walk-in shower and fluffy towels. This room was also very tastefully decorated. After a wonderful night’s sleep we were greeted at breakfast by Sue’s daughter, Hannah. What a team mother and daughter make. Very friendly, but in a very natural way, they served breakfast seamlessly. Having enjoyed the plentiful fruit and a good choice of cereals, we tucked into smoked salmon and scrambled eggs (for me), and a full English followed by... Nothing was too much trouble and both Sue and Hannah were able to give us lots of information which helped us decide where to go for the day. We chose to drive to the Park & Ride into Cambridge, which was very efficient. We had a lovely day. We walked into the village on both nights of our stay and ate at the Chinese restaurant one night and the Indian the next. Both were very good. We can not praise Trinity Hall B&B highly enough and will certainly return. More
